Leader 5/16 Tees have a special, ultra aggressive barb design so that the 5/16 lateral line plastic tubing of a maple sap tubing system locks on to eliminate leaks. The fitting is molded to be strong, and durable for years of permanent installation in the maple sugar woods. The inside diameter of the Leader 5/16 plastic tees are the largest in the maple sugaring industry to reduce restrictions and the chance of plugging fittings with ice, or bacteria. To ease installation of these tees we recommend that a tubing tool is used.

Leader 5/16" Barbed Tee with 2 Stage Spout Plug
This 5/16 Tee has a two stage spout plug that works with any of Leader Evaporator's plastic tubing spouts. This is the recommended tee for use with the Stubby Spout and all 7/16" diameter spouts.
This tee is designed for use with the Tree Saver 5/16" Diameter spouts, or other spouts that require a 5/16" diameter hole to be drilled in the maple tree. The cup is a sturdier sealing system for these smaller diameter spouts.
