Simple, compact, perfect for the hobby maple syrup producer with a 2x4 up to a 2x8 that wants to expand an have 200-500 taps.
The HERO Reverse Osmosis System will remove 35-50 gallons of purified water (permeate) from the maple sap per hour. The process happens continually while boiling, and the concentrated sap is returned directly into the feed line of the evaporator. No concentrate tank needed. Installation requires a 100 gallon storage tank for permeate water and your existing sap feed tank. The purified permeate water seperated from the maple sap is saved in the 100 gallon tank to execute rinse and wash cycles on the machine. The HERO is built of stainless steel, and has some food grade plastice plumbing, for years of enjoyable use. A HERO used with a standard 2x6 evpaorator will decrease boiling time and fuel cost by 50-70 percent. Instruction Manual
