A. Install piece of 18 gauge galvanized into the bottom of ash pit.

B. Bolt piece of 2" x 2" x ¼" angle iron 9" to center from arch front to 3" band iron (grate rail). Use 3/8" x 1 ½" machine bolts. (If installing air tight front, measure your 9" from 2" box tubing around door opening).

C. Bolt second piece of 2" x 2" x ¼" angel iron 39" to center of angle iron from arch front. Bolt to 3" band iron (grate rail). Use 3/8" x 1 ½" machine bolts.

D. Cut hole in sheet metal in existing ash back. Install sheet sleeve or sleeves and blowers in ash back with 3/16" x 1" machine screws. It is recommended to use a caulking compound behind sheet metal sleeve to prevent blow out.

Units 4’ wide and less receive only one sleeve and blower.
